Architectura Moderna, a retrospective on sculptor and architect Hendrick de Keyser, was published in Amsterdam in 1631, ten years after his death. A series of forty prints illustrate this master builder’s craftsmanship and inexhaustible creativity. This is the earliest known monograph of an artist in the Dutch language and a unique source of knowledge about the architecture of the period.
