On the basis of the oeuvre of the Marx & Steketee firm of architects in Eindhoven‘How To Do This’ offers a number of points of entry for taking a new look at architecture and urban design in the Netherlands. This architecture book has the form of a novella, written by the Dutch novelist and architecture critic Edzard Mik, and is intended to be a source of inspiration for architects. The novella is combined with three essays and a story in pictures.

Author information
Edzard Mik is a Dutch novelist, lawyer and journalist. He works as art, theatre and architecture editor for De Gids and Vrij Nederland. This fall his novel ‘Goede Tijden’ (Good Times) will be published by De Bezige Bij publishers.
