Vibeke Gieskes (Ed.)  Poetic engineering Idea and Work by Jeanne Dekkers --- The design that definitely has established the reputation of the Dutch architect Jeanne Dekkers is that for the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital in Utrecht (the Netherlands). ‘Poetic Engineering’ is a monograph on her vision of architecture and on her oeuvre. Jeanne Dekkers has been working as an architect for more than thirty years, and has enough experience to share with others, not only about the actual building, but also about designing and sketching. Sketching is an important way of thinking when designing architecture. It gives you opportunities to rethink and reconsider all kinds of architectural options. This publication allows the reader to follow a way of thinking that really does lead to buildings.
