Actions: Comment s’approprier la ville
---

'Actions' explores how the design of contemporary cities can be described and informed by four key human actions: gardening, recycling, playing, walking. These are crucial actions determining the character of the contemporary urban environment.

The book investigates the relation of the city, not only with its own built environment, but also with a more complex range of social economic and environ-mental issues. Themes will include recent planning proposals connected with the production of food and the presence of urban agriculture; contemporary strategies for recycling garbage; the city with its urban fabric as a perfect new terrain of playground for skateboarding, biking, walking.
