The memory of the city presents work by De Nijl Architecten, Rein Geurtsen & Partners, LA4sale, Crimson, HKB Stedenbouwkundigen and Eric Luiten, architectural firms whose designs differ widely in approach, research, scale and character but consistently integrate cultural-historical considerations. This survey of their work shows that clear parallels can be identified in spatial design, not only in terms of their practice but also in their thinking about design from this perspective.
