OverHolland 2, Architectural studies for Dutch cities, explores the historical development of Dutch cities. A comparative study is made of a number of morphological characteristics of Dutch cities, prompting research into the issue of urban growth and decline. In addition, specific areas in modern Dutch cities are examined, namely the railway zones that are currently undergoing transformation. The key question is how can these zones inspire concrete architectural interventions?
